Mayor Fenty and Chancellor Michelle Rhee announced that DC Public Schools (DCPS) plans to team up with the Innovation Lab at Harvard University to implement a pilot program, dubbed Capital Gains. Fenty and Councilmember At-Large Kwame Brown joined the Green Builders Council of DC to unveil the nation’s first green collar job training curriculum for the Washington, DC, area construction industry. The training curriculum will be taught at the Academy of Construction and Design at Cardozo Senior High School in Northwest.
